Jack Agugliaro
Actor/Director
A reading specialist for the
Kenmore School District, Jack spent many years as the
Chair of Lewiston's Theatre-in-the-Mist, Inc. and has appeared in their productions of OVER THE
RIVER AND THROUGH THE WOODS (Nunzio), BRIGHTON
BEACH MEMOIRS (Jack), ANOTHER ANTIGONE (Henry Harper), THE
SUNSHINE BOYS (Willie Clark), THE
INEXPERIENCED GHOST (Michael), and YOU'RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN
(Snoopy -- of course!), to name only a few. Over the years, Jack has
also worked behind the scenes as a director, stage manager, and make-up
artist.
Jack's first appearance with Subversive Theatre
came in the vignette "Please
Remove This Stuffed Animal from My Head" (pictured left) as part of SUBVERSIVE
SHORTS 2007 and returned to perform in our productions of DROP
HAMMER (2008), the vignette "Planet of the Enriques"
as part of SUBVERSIVE SHORTS 2009, and in our
staged reading of Tony Kushner's HOMEBODY/KABUL (2009).
Most recently Jack did a masterful job taking on
four separate roles in our production of Ariel Dorfman's WIDOWS
(2009).
