Rachel Zeller
Production Manager/Resident Stage Manager
Rachel has been involved in
theatre since the tender age of eight years old, and has worked on many, many
shows both on stage and behind the scenes. She holds an A.S. in Theatre from Finger Lakes
Community College and recently earned her B.A. in Theatre from the University
at Buffalo.
A mother of two beautiful
daughters and married to the perfect man, Rachel feels very blessed to have
such a wonderful life.
She first got involved with Subversive Theatre as
stage manager of our experimental re-interpretation of Eugene O'Neill's THE
HAIRY APE as part of the 2009 Buffalo "infringement"
Festival in July/August. Rachel returned triumphantly to stage manage
the following show, TWILIGHT
for Curtain Up 2009. Immediately after that, she went right back to
work stage managing WIDOWS in October/November.
Rachel officially became a member of
Subversive Theatre's Troupe in October and then agreed to become our
first-ever Production Manager in December of 2009.
In the space of just few shorts months, Rachel has
steadily proven to be a very reliable part of our endeavors and play an
ever-increasingly crucial role in the organizational development of the
company. We count ourselves very lucky to have Rachel on board!
