The New Phoenix Theatre on the Park

Don't come to The Manny Fried Playhouse for this one, friends!  For ON THE WATERFRONT only, we're performing downtown at The New Phoenix Theatre on the Park.

Just a couple of blocks from the teeny-bopper land of Chippewa, the New Phoenix Theatre will be found at 95 North Johnson Park one block west of Elmwood Avenue in between Tupper St. & Chippewa St on Buffalo's oldest park -- Johnson Park.  This glorious old relic built in 1886 on Buffalo's first park was converted into a theater in 1996.  This venue seats roughly 110 and is wheel chair accessible.
There is considerable parking available both around Johnson Park and in the parking lot just next door to the New Phoenix itself.

Click here to return to the ON THE WATERFRONT mainpage.

For  more information, call the New Phoenix directly at (716) 853-1334. Or you can find a map to our location on Mapquest.
