-Subversive Theatre's new line-up of shows for the 2014-2015 Season

For the last twelve years now, Subversive Theatre has held special presentations to help keep alive the radical tradition of May Day -- a labor holiday born in America and yet America is one of the only countries in the world where May Day is not a national holiday!

In year's past we've presented staged readings of radical labor-oriented plays.  This year we've decide to try something a little different with a memorial concert for recently-fallen labor folk singer Pete Seeger.  We're thrilled to welcome a long list of fantastic local bands for this event.

Our May Day event is also the time each year where Subversive Theatre announces its new line-up of plays for the upcoming season.  So be sure to come and get the news about all the great shows in the works for our 2014-2015 Season... and take this chance to become a member of Subversive Theatre's new season!!!

Our PETE SEEGER MEMORIAL CONCERT is Wednesday, April 30th starting at 7:30 at Nietzsche's Bar at 248 Allen Street.  Admission is $10... or you can get in free if you become a member of Subversive Theatre's 2014-2015 Season.

So come celebrate May Day a day early with Subversive Theatre and the empowering music of Pete Seeger!  Presented as part of Step-by-Step: A Season to Celebrate Pete Seeger with the Peace Education Fund of the Western New York Peace Center.
