Victor Morales
("Carl Morgan")
Victor's long list of stage credits features the
Buffalo Ensemble Theatre, Kavinoky, Shakespeare in the Park, Amherst Players,
the Lancaster Opera House, New Phoenix, and the Niagara Regional Theatre
Guild.
Victor's credits with Subversive Theatre is
no less impressive. Over the past four years he's appeared in our
productions of ARE YOU NOW OR HAVE YOU EVER BEEN
(2004), FOUNDATIONS (2007),
our Artie Award-winning production of WAITING FOR
LEFTY (2008), and ...AND
THEY PUT HANDCUFFS ON THE FLOWERS (2008).

Tim Eimiller
("Dave Sigmund")
Holding a BFA in Theatre from SUNY Buffalo, Tim's
stage credits include Irish Classical Theatre (OBSERVE THE SONS OF ULSTER, MOON FOR THE MISBEGOTTEN), Shakespeare in Delaware Park (HAMLET,
KING LEAR), Road Less Traveled Productions (BONEGRINDERS),
Theatre Helden (OEDIPUS REX, THE PHYSICISTS), and Kaleidoscope
Theatre (RUMORS, SEE HOW THEY RUN).
Tim's previous appearance with Subversive Theatre was
in our staged reading of THE
MAN WHO NEVER DIED for May Day 2008. |

David A. Hoffmann
("Stanley Gorski")
Dave has been seen previously
with Shakespeare
in Delaware Park, Ujima
Theatre, New Phoenix Theatre, Griffin Theatre Company, Kaleidoscope
Theatre Productions and Kavinoky Theatre - where he was part of the
Artie Award winning "Best Ensemble in a Play" for ONE FLEW
OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST.
Dave is an accomplished improvisationalist and
comedian, working locally with ComedySportz, Mutant Rasputin
and the Eclectic Company and studying at the prestigious Second City improv
school in Toronto.
This project marks Dave's first appearance with
Subversive Theatre.

Leon S. Copeland, Jr.*
("Louie")
Leon has only been a member of Subversive
Theatre for less than a year now, but in that time he has been very active
appearing in our productions of WAITING FOR LEFTY,
NICKEL AND DIMED
and now DROP HAMMER.
Leon has also done extensive work at the Paul Robeson
Theatre where he appeared in their productions of MULEBONE, SOUL
SOUNDS, and August Wilson's FENCES to name only a few. |

Marshall Maxwell*
("Shouter #1 -- Howie Evans")
A member of Subversive Theatre's Board of Directors,
Marshall is a fervent supporter of all forms of political theatre. In addition to a long list of stage appearances in
Boston and New York City, Marshall's local credits include work with the Paul Robeson
and the New Phoenix Theatres.
Previous appearances with Subversive Theatre include: A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON MY WAY TO SHOOT THE CZAR
(2004 Toronto Fringe Festival), FOUNDATIONS (2007),
THE
EXCEPTION AND THE RULE (2007 Buffalo "infringement" Festival), and our Artie Award-winning production of WAITING
FOR LEFTY (2008).

Tom Izard*
("Shouter #2 -- Bill Payne")
A very supportive member of Subversive Theatre, Tom describes himself as a "jackleg thespian" who
"frittered away his formative years as a University Lecturer in Computer
Science and as a software engineer for the next quarter century."
A volunteer fire fighter in the sunny uplands of Pendleton,
NY, Tom has only made five appearances on stage in his life -- but three of
them have been with Subversive Theatre -- the
vignette "The Death of Socrates in America" for SUBVERSIVE SHORTS 2007, WAITING FOR LEFTY
(2008) and NICKEL
AND DIMED (2008). |

Anthony Giambrone
("Shouter #3 -- Willie Clifford")
Anthony is a Math teacher at the Hopevale Union Free
School in Hamburg, where he also serves as a Drama Club and Student Council
advisor.
He was last seen in Batavia Player's production
of JULIUS CAESAR and previously in their productions of TAMING OF
THE SHREW and MACBETH. Other acting credits include Batavia
Rotary Productions and the Niagara
University Players.
This is Anthony's first appearance with Subversive
Theatre. He would like to thank his family for all the inspiration they
have given him throughout the years.

Guy DeFedericis*
("Shouter #4 -- Gene Smoyer")
A resident of Dunkirk, NY, Guy has appeared with the
Lucille Ball Little Theatre, Springville Players, and South Buffalo
Theatre.
Guy recently put his talents to work behind the
scenes as stage manager for the New Phoenix Theatre's DUSTY SPRINGFIELD . .
. WITH YOU earlier this Fall.
DROP HAMMER marks Guy's second appearance with
Subversive Theatre . . . the first being our Artie Award-winning production of
WAITING FOR
LEFTY (2008). |

Betsy Bittar
("Mildred Morgan")
Betsy is a long-time Buffalo actress who has appeared
in a number of out of the ordinary productions including New Phoenix Theatre's
productions of ALICE
UNDERGROUND and THE WOMAN BEFORE, Buffalo Ensemble Theatre's BEHIND THE GREEN DOG as
well as a one-woman tour-de-force performance in Pandora's Box Theatre's BECCA AND
HEIDI.
Betsy's previous appearances with Subversive
Theatre include MOTHER
DIS-COURAGE (2004) and SINCERITY
FOREVER (2006).
Look for Betsy next at the New Phoenix Theatre in BEAUTY
QUEEN OF LEENANE in February.

Daniel Sterlace*
("Sully")
One of Subversive Theatre's newest members -- and our
newly enshrine Resident Graphic Designer to boot! -- Dan's a
Canisius College graduate with a BS in Digital Media Arts. After
appearing in many productions with Canisius' Little Theatre Drama Club -- as
well as serving as Club President -- Dan went on to appear in SMELL OF THE
KILL with Kaleidoscope Theatre.
With Subversive Theatre, Dan previously appeared in
the vignette "Don't
Shoot the Messenger" for SUBVERSIVE
SHORTS 2007.

Amanda McCormick
("Bets Sigmund")
After a ten year hiatus, Amanda is pleased to be
returning to the stage with Subversive Theatre. Previous stage work
includes appearances in the Rochester area in such productions as MIRACLE
WORKER, PIRATES OF PENZANCE, and a Rochester Broadway Theatre
League nomination for best supporting actress in ANYTHING GOES.
Most recently, Amanda staged managed the Kaleidoscope
Theatre production of SOMETHING TO HIDE. This is her first time
working with Subversive Theatre.

Jack Agugliaro*
("Frank Ryan")
A teacher and reading specialist, Jack is the
Chair of Lewiston's Theatre-in-the-Mist, Inc. and has appeared in their productions of OVER THE
RIVER AND THROUGH THE WOODS (Nunzio), BRIGHTON
BEACH MEMOIRS (Jack), ANOTHER ANTIGONE (Henry Harper), and THE
INEXPERIENCED GHOST (Michael), to name only a few. Over the years, Jack has
also directed, stage
managed, and assisted with make-up.
Jack's only previous appearance with Subversive Theatre
came in the vignette "Please
Remove This Stuffed Animal from My Head" as part of SUBVERSIVE
SHORTS 2007. And we're very pleased to have him back on board
for this project. |

Kevin Dennis*
("Kewpie Fleischauer")
Kevin studied theatre at Buffalo State College and is
proud to have been involved in several local productions including the New
Phoenix Theatre's KISS ME GUIDO.
DROP HAMMER is Kevin's third appearance
with Subversive Theatre, the others being in the vignette "The Death of
Socrates in America" as part of SUBVERSIVE SHORTS 2007
and our Artie Award-winning production of WAITING
FOR LEFTY (2008).

Anthony Tyrpak*
("Eddie Bennett")
Tony is proud to be in his fourth performance in the
world of Buffalo Theatre . . . not counting various Shakespeare plays during
his time as a member of Canisius College's Little Theatre Drama Club. He would like to thank his
friends, family, and that special someone.

Robert "Hodie" Hodas*
("Cedric Thompson")
A member of Subversive Theatre's Board of Directors, "Hodie"
is a long-time union activist and political organizer who is very honored to
have this opportunity to appear in a play by the one and only Manny Fried.
While not an actor by trade, Hodie has graciously
performed in a number of Subversive Theatre's staged readings over the years
including ARE YOU NOW
OR HAVE YOU EVER BEEN (2003), BURY
THE DEAD (2005), THE
MOTHER (2005), and others. Our current project marks Hodie's
first time acting in a full scale production.

Brian Zybala*
("Ted Walkowiak" & understudy for "Evans")
A well-traveled actor with a predilection for all
types of experimental theatre, Brian holds a BFA in Theatre from
the University at Buffalo and an MEd from Boston's Leslie
University. Having performed locally with Theater for Change, RANT, Irish Classical, New
Phoenix, and Skeletons in the Closet Productions, he now teaches 3rd grade in
Wales Center School System.
An ardent member of Subversive Theatre, Brian has
appeared in our productions of THE
ACCIDENTAL DEATH OF AN ANARCHIST (2002), SINCERITY
FOREVER (2006), ...AND
THEY PUT HANDCUFFS ON THE FLOWERS (2008) as well as our staged reading
of THE MAN WHO
NEVER DIED for May Day 2008. |

Erik Eimiller
("Wally Gawrys")
It's been ten years since Erik has been on the stage
. . . in a theatrical sense. But he's thrilled that his brother (and
fellow cast member) Tim asked him to jump into the role of Wally Gawrys (just
a week before opening night!).
Erik has had a wonderful time with DROP HAMMER
and the experience has re-kindled his acting aspirations . . . so look out
world!!!
