Dennis Keefe
(Frank Benedetti)
A reliable member of the Subversive Theatre
Collective, Dennis is well-known for his work on radio as well as on stage.
Over the past ten years, Dennis has appeared in a
wide variety of roles for such theatres as Buffalo United Artists, Alleyway,
Theater of Youth, and Ujima, as well as many appearances with the Buffalo
Ensemble Theatre.
FOUNDATIONS marks Dennis' fourth appearance
with Subversive Theatre, the others being A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON MY WAY
TO SHOOT THE CZAR (2004), ARE YOU NOW OR HAVE YOU EVER BEEN
(2004), and THE MOTHER (2005).

Willie W. Judson, Jr.
(John Sheppard)
Subversive Theatre is very happy to welcome Willie
back after his Artie Award-nominated tour-de-force performance in our
production of PAUL ROBESON SPEAKS OUT in 2004 & 2005.
A stalwart member of the Subversive Theatre
Collective, Willie is an actor, writer, producer,
artistic director, and theater veteran of more than 30 years who has
appeared on many stages throughout Western New York. He is a
co-founder of the People of Drama Acting Ensemble where he teaches the
Stanislavski Method and has written & produced numerous original
plays. |

Andy Moss
(Leonard Hartman a.k.a. "Hard-on")
Currently a Senior BFA musical theatre major at the
University at Buffalo, Andy has been seen in numerous UB productions including
MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG, STEEL PIER, and MYTHS AND HYMNS.
Outside of UB, Andy's stage credits include THE
FULL MONTY at Artpark, LEADER OF THE PACK at Musicalfare, and A
MAN OF NO IMPORTANCE at Irish Classical Theatre.
FOUNDATIONS is Andy's first time working with
Subversive Theatre and he is very excited to be working on this new play.

Christopher Standart
(Jakub "Blow Job" Yablonowitz)
Over 20 years time, Chris has acted in/directed over
125 plays/musicals in Buffalo & NYC.
Recently, Chris has been performing regularly with
the Irish Classical Theatre (A MAN OF NO IMPORTANCE, AMADEUS, THE COBBLER,
LADY WINDEMERE'S FAN, and others), Shakespeare in the Park (LOVE'S
LABOURS LOST, HAMLET), and TornSpace (THE DEVILS, CLEANSED).
Chris also recently directed QUILLS at
TornSpace garnering five Artie Award nominations.
FOUNDATIONS is Chris's first time working with
Subversive Theatre. |

Lawrence Rowswell
(Joseph Dugan)
Yet another member of Subversive Theatre, Larry
prides himself on his facility for both traditional and non-traditional
theatrical styles. Over the years, he's appeared with
Shakespeare in Delaware Park, Theater of Youth, Buffalo United Artists, and
the Irish Classical Theatre.
He has also been involved with experimental theatre
with the Blue Garrote Collective, RJK Productions, and Morphine Hearts Productions.
FOUNDATIONS is Larry's fourth appearance with
Subversive Theatre, the others being ARE YOU NOW OR HAVE YOU EVER BEEN
(2004), BURY THE DEAD (2005), and WAITING FOR LEFTY
(2006).

Hasheen DeBerry
(Nkrumah Moss)
Hasheen has been involved with theatre in many
capacities both on and off stage since 2001.
A recent graduate of Canisius College, Hasheen
appeared in their drama club performances of HOUSE OF BLUE LEAVES, TWO
GENTLEMEN OF VERONA, A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, ONCE ON THIS
ISLAND, and HAIR.
Behind the scenes, Hasheen has done everything from
stage management, lights & sound, to set construction.
FOUNDATIONS is Hasheen's first appearance with
Subversive Theatre and he is very excited to be involved. |

Sandra Gilliam
(Louisa Diaz)
Yet another new member of Subversive Theatre, Sandra is an actor/singer who regularly appears with
the Paul Robeson Theatre (BLACK NATIVITY, TAMBOURINES TO GLORY, DANCE
ON WIDOW'S ROW) and O'Connell & Company's Cabaret in the Square (SHE-BOP,
DIVA BY DIVA, and many others).
Sandra is a member of Theatre for Change and also
appears as a singer at many venues around town.
FOUNDATIONS is Sandra's first project with
Subversive Theatre.

Keith Elkins
(Peter Olsen)
Since 1979, Keith "No Relation" Elkins has
appeared in as many as 50 shows on several Buffalo stages including Kavinoky,
Shakespeare in Delaware Park, Theater of Youth, and the Buffalo Ensemble
Theatre.
In recent years, however, he's shown up mainly in
Subversive Theatre productions and he's happy to be doing so again.
Keith's other Subversive credits include, A FUNNY
THING HAPPENED ON MY WAY TO SHOOT THE CZAR (2002), KARL MARX IN
ALLENTOWN (2002), BURY THE DEAD (2003), MOTHER DIS-COURAGE (2004
& 2005), and WHAT I HEARD ABOUT IRAQ (2006). |

Victor Morales
(Benjamin "Wolf" Wolford)
A member of the Buffalo Ensemble Theatre's Board of
Directors, Victor has appeared in a long list of B.E.T. productions as well as
with many other theaters throughout the Western New York area.
Recent stage credits include the Lancaster Opera
House's production of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, the Amherst Players'
rendition of INHERIT THE WIND, and the New Phoenix Theatre's
multiple-Artie-Award-winning production of JESUS HOPPED THE A-TRAIN.
FOUNDATIONS marks Victor's second appearance
with Subversive Theatre, the first being ARE YOU NOW OR HAVE YOU EVER BEEN
for May Day 2004.

Tom Scahill
(First Police Officer)
A long-time member of the Subversive Theatre
Collective, Tom is a seasoned actor and impassioned activist on many social
issues.
As an actor, Tom has appeared with many area theatres
including Ujima, Kavinoky, Shakespeare in Delaware Park, and the Buffalo
Ensemble Theatre.
With Subversive Theatre, Tom has appeared in our
productions of THE ACCIDENTAL DEATH OF ANARCHIST (2002 -- pictured
left), ARE YOU NOW OR HAVE YOU EVER BEEN (2004), IN THE HEART OF
AMERICA (2004), THE MOTHER (2005), and BURY THE DEAD (2005). |

Marshall Maxwell
(Second Police Officer)
A member of Subversive Theatre's Board of Trustees,
Marshall is a fervent supporter of all forms of political theatre.
Having made many appearances with the radical Boston
troupe Little Flaggs Theatre, Marshall has also worked with New York City's
renowned experimental theatre La Mama Cafe.
Marshall's Buffalo stage credits include the Paul Robeson
Theatre's production of THE MIGHTY GENTS (2001), and New Phoenix
Theatre's THE RESERVOIR (2002).
Marshall last appeared with Subversive Theatre in our
production of A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON MY WAY TO SHOOT THE CZAR at the
2004 Toronto Fringe Festival.
