"A people who do not cherish and promote their theatre are, if not yet dead, in the process of dying, just as theatre which does not capture the vibrancy of society, of history, the drama of its people, but is only a casino or a place to kill time."

-Federico Garcia Lorca

For our sixth annual "infringement" Festival production, we are proud to present a wonderfully wild re-interpretation of Bertolt Brecht's revolutionary drama THE MOTHER.
This time around we're putting THE PEOPLE back in PEOPLES' THEATRE with an intensely interactive production where ten actors play all the major roles and the audience plays all the rest.  THAT'S RIGHT!  In our theatre of empowerment, no one will be left passive.  YOU -- the audience -- will have the opportunity to play the soldiers, factory workers, demonstrators, strike-breakers, and sometimes even the walls, windows, and coat racks of this colossal story of peoples' resistance and revolution.
